In late January 2026 an image of two brown tabby kittens in a dark carrier appeared on Chinese cat torture groups in Telegram. The monsters had set a countdown to 31st January. On that date the two tabby kittens were to be tortured and killed.
The date came and a second image was uploaded. This time their faces were covered in blood and a look of absolute terror in their eyes. We do not know the exact torture methods they were subjected to. We do know they suffered greatly, this happened in real time and the current situation in China meant that nothing could be done to save them.
These sweet babies have been named by the wider community, Sweetlovey and Honeymoon.
