Servers, the domain, and the protective layer that sits in front of the
public site. This is the largest ongoing cost and the least optional one.
Running our own infrastructure is what keeps the tip line, the evidence
archive, and the onion mirror under our control rather than a platform's.

The Atlanta Billboard
A public fundraiser paid for a billboard in Atlanta reading END CHINA'S
CAT TORTURE INDUSTRY, with Monica's photo beside it. It went up on August
3, 2026. The campaign raised more than the billboard cost, and most of the
surplus went straight back out the door as a donation to Cai Zhen's cat
rescue in China. What was left after transfer fees and currency conversion
came to roughly $107, and that amount is held in the organization's
account. Every figure below was posted publicly on the campaign page as
it happened.

Funds We Hold
What happens to money that is not spent yet.
Money left over from a campaign sits in the organization's bank account
until it has somewhere to go. There are three places it can end up, and
no others. It can fund the next large project, the way the billboard was
funded. It can be donated onward to a rescue or organization doing work
we want to support, which is what happened with most of the billboard
surplus. Or it can cover the operating costs listed above, which are what
keep the site, the tip line, and the evidence archive running month to
month.
Nothing is currently earmarked. When a decision is made about where held
funds go, it will be recorded on this page. No one at Project No More
draws a salary, a stipend, or reimbursement from these funds, and the
organization has no paid staff.
